About BLH Computers
History
BLH Computers, Inc. was founded by an informal group with years of industry experience. The company was formed to provide a source for used computers and parts at reasonable prices. Our main store, located in the scenic city of Springfield, IL, houses a 26 bay onsite repair facility, 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse, complete deconstruction and recycling facilities, as well as our shipping and corporate offices. We also have locations in Jacksonville, IL, Taylorville, IL, and Decatur, IL.
Today
Today everything BLH Computers recycles stays in North America. Nothing is sent overseas. All data is safely destroyed, hard drives are wiped with a Department of Defense wipe or destroyed in a metal shredder. At any given time our warehouse contains thousands of computers, laptops, monitors, and printers. We provide computers and parts through a retail format as well as on-site computer repair and networking. Through our "give back to the community program" over $100,000 in computers have been donated to local churches, schools and charities. We are environmentally responsible with our computers; actively recycling non-working units to avoid having them end up in landfills. In the past three years we have recycled over 4 million pounds of e-waste.
Tomorrow
We are constantly expanding our scope, seeking new sources and innovative approaches to recycling.
